I was commissioned by MPC Events to animate a series of LoHei animation for a bank client.
Lo Hei, or Yu Sheng, is a Chinese New Year tradition celebrated in Southeast Asia, particularly in Singapore and Malaysia. During the ritual, participants toss the ingredients together using chopsticks, symbolizing the sharing of good fortune and prosperity. The act of tossing, known as "Lo Hei," is believed to bring luck and success for the upcoming year. This ritual is often accompanied by a series of auspicious words while tossing the ingredients.
